Modern Art, aka "Spot", is a 16.1 hand '92 Oldenburg mare by Art Deco out of a TB mare Flash O' Dash. She was shown as a hunter by her previous owner Cindy Hale of California. Cindy also writes a column for Horse Illustrated magazine. Spot is a medium-bodied mare with a gorgeous dished face and nice hunter movement. She is approved for breeding by the German Oldenburg Verband and the RPSI and has had three previous foals.
Spot foaled a gorgeous colt by Sempatico in late April and is currently being leased by Michelle Reusser of Kentucky! She will be leased by Sheila Weinrich of Kansas for '08 and bred to her lovely Friesian stallion Deiderik!
