Escudo I is a 16.2 hand (167 cm) black Hanoverian stallion born in 1991. He is a stallion of ideal type and produces horses with excellent toplines, frames, conformation, and jumping ability. Escudo I has an amazing show and breeding record and was selected as a Hanoverian Jumper Breeding Program stallion. His accomplishments include:

 

1994    Champion of the Stallion Performance Test

1996    5 year old Hanoverian Show Jumping Champion

1996    German National Reserve Champion 5 year old jumper

 

Escudo I is a son of the 1995 Hanoverian Stallion of the Year, Espri. Espri has produced many grand prix show jumpers including World Cup winner, E.T. and SPS Athene, a mare who scored extremely well on her Mare Performance Test and who has also produced the show jumper Erik 18. Escudo's daughters have scored exceptionally well in their Mare Performance Tests, giving Escudo I outstanding breeding values for all categories, especially type, frame, conformation, and jumping. Many of Escudo I's daughters have become States Premium Mares. As of 2007 he has produced 24 licensed sons including Earl, Embassy I, El Bundy, Embassy III, and Etrusco.
